How long have you been doing Crossfit?
I started doing Crossfit while in the Army in 2003, but like everyone else, I wasn’t completely sold on it until 2006. In Feb 2006 I started doing Crossfit full time and have been ever since.

Athletic background?
I play high school football and power lifted. After high school, I played one year of Junior College football. The rest of my “athletic background” was spent in the U.S. Army with NO “off seasons”

What’s your favorite part of CrossFit?
My favorite part of Crossfit is the community side of it. I would much rather see an athlete at CFNS compete, get their first pull up, or PR than ANY Games athlete

What’s your favorite movement in CrossFit?
Either Power or Squat Clean, followed by Deadlift

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t doing Crossfitting?
My number one “hobby” is my family, I love spending time with my beautiful wife, Kasey and two wonderful children, Remi and Gage. I also enjoy taking and competing in Brazilian Jujutsu, shooting guns, hiking, beach trips… pretty much anything outdoors.
